Belt tension :
• Check belt condition. If it is worn or damaged, replace
to new one.
- If the belt is slipping, tighten the wire with the
adjusting nut (B, Fig 33) until the wire spring start to be
tightened.
- If brake belt does not stop blade in 5 second, tighten
the wire with the adjusting nut A.
IMPORTANT
A bad tension belt makes slipping and worning out quickly. High tension of belt will damage the
bearings.
Brake
If brake is not worked efficiently, tighten it with the
nut (Figure 34).
Tightening of bolts :
Check that the bolts, nuts…are properly tightened.
The vibrations tend to loosen the bolts.
Adjust safety switches
Adjust the screws for pushing the safety switches
these can push switches from 3 to 5 mm.
Travel lever adjustment
Adjust the control link (A Fig 35) in order to have
the machine motionless when the speed control lever
is in neutral.
Diff lock lever adjustment :
Adjust the control rod (B, Figure 35) until the lever
has a free play of 1 to 3 mm before activate the diff
lock.
