6.5 Troubleshooting
If the error cannot be rectied by applying the measures described above, please contact the local
service center!
In the case of other errors not desribed here, please contact the local service center.

Tri-colour LED (Sec. 3.1)
remains dark.
● Battery defective / completely
discharged.
● Battery not inserted correctly.
● The battery inserted is not per-
missible (wrong battery).
► Charge/replace battery (Sec.
4.1.1/4.1.2).
► Check that the battery is fully
inserted.
► Insert the correct battery.
Red battery level indicator
ashes red (Sec.4.1.3).
● Battery empty. ► Charge battery (Sec. 4.1.1).
Strap is not tensioned. ● Strap inserted incorrectly in the
tool.
► Insert the strap correctly into the
tool (Sec. 5.1).
Desired strap tension is not
achieved.
● Dirty or defective tension wheel.
● Maximum strap tension (friction
clutch) incorrectly set.
► Clean/replace tension wheel (Sec.
6.2/6.3).
► Setting strap tension (Sec. 4.2).
Tension wheel is spinning. ● Dirty or defective tension wheel.
● Maximum strap tension (friction
clutch) set too high.
► Clean/replace tension wheel (Sec.
6.2/6.3).
► Setting strap tension (Sec. 4.2).
Strap is not welded properly
(tears in the welding area).
● Welding time too short/too long. ► Setting welding time (Sec. 4.3).

● Tensioning lever is moved back
too early during welding process.
Tool is blocked.
► Remove battery and reinsert.
