Bit 0 (LSB): Bias supply polarity (0=positive, 1=negative).
Bit 1: Bias supply overload (0=overload, 1=normal).
Bit 2: HV enabled (0=disabled, 1=enabled).

Reports the sum of the specified group of spectral data channels. If start_chan and

currently selected segment that have their ROI flag set.
