1 Preface
The "A200" Power Wheelchair is a quality product offering versatile use in everyday life.
The following special
features are the characteristic of the "A200":
- Compact design
- Easy to disassemble for transport
- Easy servicing due to modular component group concept
- Easy access to all component groups
Before using the power wheelchair, please read these Instructions for Use and especially the Safety Instruc-
tions in section 5 thoroughly.
The design, as described in these Instructions for Use, is subject to technical alterations without notice.
2 Field of Application
The "A200" Power Wheelchair is designed solely for people who are unable to walk or who have a walking
impediment for control by the patient themself. The "A200" was specially designed for individuals, who are able
to independently move in a power wheelchair.
The "A200" is a power wheelchair for indoor use according to category A of EN 12184 standard.
With regard to the climate and splash-proof test the A200 also fulfills the requirements for outdoor use.
Thanks to its quick and easy adjustment possibilities for standard fittings and the modular design the "A200"
can be used by patients with walking impediments/inability due to:

- Defective / deformed limbs
- Joint contractures / defects
- Other diseases
Fitting Considerations:
- Body height and weight (maximal load is 100 kg)
- Physical and psychological limitations
- Age of the user
- Home conditions and environment
3 Liability
The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used under the conditions and for the purpo-
ses described. The manufacturer recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the ins-
tructions for use.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by components and spare parts not approved by the
manufacturer. Repairs must be carried out exclusively by authorised dealers or by the manufacturer.
4 CE Conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medical devices. This device has been
classified as a class I device according to the classification criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines.
The declaration of conformity was therefore created by Otto Bock with sole responsibility according to appen-
dix VII of the guidelines.
5 Service
Service and repairs on the A200 may only be carried out by authorised dealers.
Should any problems arise, please contact your wheelchair supplier.
