5.4 Removal and Installation Procedures
This section describes how to remove and install the major mechanical and electrical modules.
Removal procedures are as below. To Install the instrument, you could operate the removal
procedure in reverse order. You should pay attention to the “Notice for installation” when
installation.
1. Push the Power switch Button inside as power ON position.
2. Battery Box
z Place the instrument with the bottom facing you. Loosen the two screws that secure the
battery box to the rear chassis (do not take it off).

z Take the two screws to pull the battery box cover out.

3. Ground Connection
z Place the oscilloscope face down on soft surface (such as an anti-static mat), with the
bottom facing you.
