To connect the HotSync cable:
1. Turn off your computer.
2. Plug the HotSync cable into a serial (COM) port on your computer.
Note:
Your HotSync cable requires a dedicated port. It cannot
share a port with an internal modem or other device. If
you are unsure of the exact location of the serial port, refer
to the manual supplied with your computer.
If your computer does not have a dedicated serial port available, or the
cable does not fit your computer, you can order the following HotSync
