• Start = Start Menu.
• OK = OK/Close.
• Option + Phone/Send = Internet Explorer.
• Option + Start = Calendar.
• Option + OK = Task Manager.
• Side button = Windows Media.
4. Select the Assign a program list, and then select the application
you want to assign to the button or key combination you selected
in step 3.
5. Press OK .
Using voice commands
1. Assign a Voice Command button. See “Reassigning buttons” on
page 171 for details.
2. Hold your device about 9" away, and then press and release the
Voice Command button. A tone plays and a microphone icon
appears at the top of your screen.
3. In a clear voice say, the command. For example, to access Help,
say “Help.”
4. After Voice Command finishes speaking a microphone icon
appears at the top of your screen; say your answer. For example,
say “General” to access general Help topics.
Setting input options
1. Press Start and select Settings.
2. On the Personal tab, select Input .
3. Select the Word Completion tab and set any of the following
options:

To enter a suggested
word, simply tap it.
Tip
You can also press the
Voice Command
button during a
question to interrupt.
Once the microphone
icon is visible you may
say your answer.
