Chapter 10 Maintenance and Inspection — Warning system
Display Description Behavior and cause
[PROXY ERROR] An error occurred in the internal proxy module.
f The current operation will continue.
f Turn off the camera and turn on it again to check the
recording and playback. If the error continues to occur,
please consult your dealer.
[PROXY REC WARNING] A proxy data recording error occurred.
f The current operation will continue.
f Turn off the camera and turn on it again to check the
recording and playback. If the error continues to occur,
please consult your dealer.
[REC IMPOSSIBLE] (slot number)
An SDHC/SDXC memory card is inserted into the
microP2 memory card slot.
Recording to the SDHC/SDXC memory card is disabled.
f The current operation will continue.
f Record to microP2 or P2 memory cards.
[REC WARNING]
[FRAME SIGNAL]
Displayed when a video or audio error occurs during
recording.
f Tally lamp ashes four times per second during
continuous recording.
f The current operation will continue. When input
signals are disrupted, recording continues while
disrupted images are recorded. Check the signal to be
input to the camera.
f Turn off the power and on before using it again.
[REC WARNING]
[OVER MAX# CLIPS]
Displayed when attempting to record in excess of the
maximum total number of clips allowed for one P2 card.
f Tally lamp ashes four times per second during
continuous recording.
f The operation will stop.
f Replace the P2 card or delete unnecessary clips.
Displayed after approximately 3.5 hours have elapsed
from the time when operation to start a single recording
is executed, when [SHORT SPLIT] is selected in the
main menu [RECORDING SETUP] [FILE SPLIT].
f The operation will stop.
[REC WARNING]
[PULL DOWN]
(Occurs during recording)
The video pull-down sequence and time code values
are not synchronized.
f Tally lamp ashes four times per second during
continuous recording.
f The current operation will continue.
f Check the signal.
[REC WARNING]
[PULL DOWN ERROR]
(Occurs at times other than during recording)
The video pull-down sequence and time code values
are not synchronized.
f The current operation will continue.
f Check the signal.
[REC WARNING]
[REC DATA]
Displayed when an error occurs in recorded data during
recording.
f Tally lamp ashes four times per second during
continuous recording.
f The operation will continue or stop.
f Turn off the power and on before using it again.
[RUN DOWN CARD] (slot number)
The maximum number of overwrites has been
exceeded.
f The current operation will continue.
f Replacement of the P2 card is recommended.
[SD CARD] (slot number)
An SDHC/SDXC memory card is inserted into the
microP2 memory card slot.
f The current operation will continue.
f Use of microP2 or P2 memory card is recommended.
[SLOT3 CANNOT REC]
[microP2 SELECTED]
Displayed when the card is inserted into the slot which
is not selected as the recording slot.
f The operation will stop.
f Set [P2] in the main menu [RECORDING SETUP]
[REC MEDIA].
[SLOT3/4 CANNOT REC]
[P2 SELECTED]
Displayed when the card is inserted into the slot which
is not selected as the recording slot.
f The operation will stop.
f Set [microP2] in the main menu [RECORDING
SETUP] [REC MEDIA].
[TEMPORARY PAUSE]
[IRREGULAR SIG]
Correct recording is not possible due to disruption of
input signals of the <GENLOCK IN/VIDEO OUT> or
<SDI IN> terminal, etc., and recording is suspended
temporarily. The clip will be divided.
f Tally lamp ashes four times per second during
continuous recording.
f The operation will pause.
f Recording resumes when the signal returns to normal.
However, during loop recording, recording does not
resume.
[VFR ON, NO AUDIO RECORDING]
Native variable frame rate recording is performed. Audio
can not be recorded.
f The current operation will continue.
During thumbnail and menu operation

[AUTHENTICATION ERROR!] Manual authentication failed. Enter the correct password.
[CANNOT ACCESS!]
Data cannot be accessed due to a content defect or
some other reason.
Ensure the health of the media and the clips.
[CANNOT CHANGE!]
For a clip with the
mark, where a thumbnail cannot
be generated, the thumbnail cannot be modied in the
text memo position.
Correct the settings and content to enable display of the
thumbnail.
[CANNOT DELETE!] The content versions do not match. Cannot delete. Match the device and contents version.
[CANNOT FORMAT!]
A P2 card problem or some other reason prevents
formatting.
Check the P2 card.
[CANNOT RE-CONNECT!]
Clips cannot be remerged because either clips not
recorded across multiple P2 cards are selected or other
reasons.
Check the selected content.
[CANNOT REPAIR IN SELECTION!] Some of the selected clips cannot be repaired. Check the selected content.
[CANNOT REPAIR!] Content that cannot be repaired is selected. Check the selected content.
