LAN
CAUTION
z Do not connect the telephone cable to the LAN port.
1 Turn off your computer.
z Do not use standby or hibernation.
2 Open the cover (A) and connect the cable.
Connect the LAN port (B) and the network system (server, HUB, etc.) using a LAN
cable.
3 Turn on the computer.
You can turn off the LAN device to reduce power consumption during battery operation.
1 Click the LAN device power icon ( / / / / ) on the notification area.
z If the icon is not displayed on the notification area, click [start] - [All Programs] - [Panasonic] - [LAN Power-
Saving Utility].
z
: The Local Area Connection is enabled and the LAN device is on.
: The Local Area Connection is enabled and the LAN device is off.
: The Local Area Connection is disabled and the LAN device is on.
: The Local Area Connection is disabled and the LAN device is off.
: LAN is disabled in the Setup Utility (Î page 62).
2 Select the setting.
