1 Select [Device Manager] in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel]
- [System]
2 Select [Intel 8255x-based PCI Ethernet Adapter (10/100)] in [Net-
work adapters], then select [Properties]
3 Delete the check mark for [Disable in this hardware profile],
select [OK], then select [Close]
4 Restart the computer

When using the LAN, set [Modem/LAN] to [Enable]* in the Setup Utility. (* Default)

1 Select [Hardware Profiles] in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel]
- [System]
2 Select [Original Configuration] in [Available Hardware Profiles],
then select [Properties]
3 Select [Network], then delete the check mark for [Network-dis-
abled hardware profile]
4 Select [OK], then select [OK]
5 Restart the computer
