Error Messages Displayed on Your Machine
If a document is not printed out, an error may have occurred.From the error messages displayed on the Control
Panel, it is possible to know what caused the problem, and how the problem can be taken care of.
Checking Error Messages: Press the Print key, select the
Job Control
button and the
Output Queue
button.
Then, select the
Print History
tab. The error message(s) are shown on the Status column.
Once you know the error message, check below for the cause and solution for the error.
Error Messages Possible Cause
Print Parameter Error(001) The Duplex Unit does not
function properly.
Contact to the Panasonic Authorized Dealer to
maintain your machine.
Print Parameter Error(002) Specied a Paper Source
(Basic tab) which is not
installed on your machine.
Verify the settings on the Device tab.
Click the
Auto Configuration
button to congure
the settings properly when your machine is
connected to the network.
When your machine is connected with USB
cable, set the Number of Paper Tray on the
Device tab correctly.
Print Parameter Error(004)
Print Parameter Error(005)
Specied the Output Tray
(Output tab) to Finisher.
However, the Finisher
Unit is not installed on the
machine.
Specied the Sort Method
to Shift(Output tab), or
specied the position of the
staple.(Output tab)
Verify the settings on the Device tab.
Click the
Auto Configuration
button to congure
the settings properly when your machine is
connected to the network.
When your machine is connected with USB
cable, set the Finisher on the Device tab
correctly.
