Test (to adjust Channel balance)
The optimum when listening to 5.1 channel sound is for an the speakers, except for the
subwoofer, to be the same distance from the listening position.
With Dolby Digital, you can adjust the delay time for the center and surround speakers to
make up for differer_cesin distances between the speakers.
These adjustments will have no effect on DTS or DVD-Audio sources.
Ideal center speaker position
• Center speaker
Set delay time to 0 ms if DF is
less than or equal to Dc.

Adjust the volume of the center and surround
speakers so they are the same apparent

Adjusting volume
Move the joystick up or down when the test
signal is output from the speaker you want to
adjust, The signal wnl continue to come from
that speaker as long as you continue
adjustments.
To stop the test signal
Press the joystick.
To adjust the volume of the subwoofer
1. Use the joystick to highlight the channe
balance box for the subwoofer and press.
2. Move the joystick up to raise the volume
or down to lowerthe volume and press.
