Connection to an amplifier with a built-in decoder (or an
amplifier and decoder combination) (Digital connection)
(DVD-LV70 and
DVD-LV55 have only one AUDIO terminal.)
1 Connect the equipment.
2 Adjust the settings to suit the equipment you have connected
( page 40, “Digital settings”).
Note
You cannot use a DTS decoder that cannot handle signals from DVDs.

If you have not connected a subwoofer, you should connect front speakers that are capa-
ble of producing bass under 100 Hz if possible.
2 Adjust the settings to suit the speakers you have connected ( page 38,
“Speaker settings”).
Note
Turn V.S.S. off. Sound will only come from the front speakers if V.S.S. is on.
