Recording with Manual Focus
If auto focusing is difficult due to the conditions, then use Manual Focus.
≥ Press the Intelligent auto/Manual button to switch to Manual Mode. (l 47)
1 (When MF assist function is used)
Select the menu.
≥ Display the operation icon by pressing the ENTER button, and switch to manual icon by pressing 4 .
2 Select [MF] using the cursor button to change to Manual Focus.
≥ MF appears on the screen.
3 Press 2/1 to adjust the focus.
The in-focus area is displayed in blue. The normal
screen returns approximately 2 seconds after you finish bringing the subject into focus.
≥ When [MF ASSIST] is [OFF], the blue area is not displayed.
≥ To restore Auto Focus, select [AF] or press the Intelligent auto/Manual button.
≥ The blue display does not appear on the images actually recorded.
