Playing back the USB HDD
≥ Only motion picture/still picture that have been copied by connecting this unit to the USB
HDD or copied with HD Writer AE 5.4 can be played back.
A USB Connection Cable (commercially-available)
B USB HDD (commercially-available)
C Turn the side with the symbol down to connect the micro A end of the USB Connection Cable to
the USB terminal of this unit.
1 Connect this unit to the USB HDD to prepare for playback. (l 169)
≥ When playing back on a TV, connect this unit to the TV. (l 160)
2 Touch [Playback HDD].
3 Touch the scene or still picture to be played back and then play it back.
≥ The playback operation is performed the same as when playing back motion pictures or still
pictures. (l 38, 120)
To terminate the connection between this unit and the USB HDD
Touch on the Touch Menu.
≥ Disconnect the USB Connection Cable from this unit.
≥ It is also possible to switch the media to play back by touching the playback media icon.

HDD are saved in the built-in memory. If you touch [COPY] after saving, you can copy them to the
SD card.
