≥ Even if the system requirements mentioned in these operating instructions are fulfilled,
some PCs cannot be used.
≥ The USB equipment operates with the driver installed as standard in the OS.
1 Connect this unit to the AC adaptor.
≥ Use the AC adaptor to free you from worrying about the battery running down.
2 Turn on the unit.
≥ Change the mode to or .
3 Connect this unit to a PC.

≥ Insert the USB cable securely all the way. It will not operate properly if it is not inserted all
the way.
≥ Do not use any other USB cables except the supplied one. (Operation is not guaranteed
with any other USB cables.)
≥ The USB function selection screen will appear.
4 Touch [WEB CAMERA] on the screen of
this unit.
≥ When you select an option other than [WEB
CAMERA], reconnect the USB cable.
≥ Sides of the image will be truncated and displayed in
4:3 aspect ratio on you and your partner’s PCs.
≥ When you use the camera as a web camera continuously for 8 hours, it will stop the
operation and return to the USB function selection screen.
≥ Do not operate any other function on this unit while the camera is connected to a PC in
Web camera mode.
5 Disconnect the USB cable after shutting down Skype.
