On-Board Image Enhancement
The entire line of Panasonic document scanners incorporates on-board
Panasonic Image Enhancement (PIE) technology. This architecture enables
advanced imaging functionality to reside inside the scanner. The result is a
powerful set of on-board image processing capabilities without requiring
additional plug-in boards or post-processing software. This technology is
enabled through our ISIS® certified and TWAIN compatible
drivers and all Panasonic document scanners are Kofax VRS® certified.
Easy Maintenance
Panasonic scanners are designed to be easy to maintain and incorporate
Panasonic’s longlife, double-feed prevention roller system and double
feed detection systems to help insure reliable document feeding and
accurate document capture. When the scanner’s longlife rollers are in
need of replacement, new rollers can be installed in seconds, without
requiring a service call or technician, thus eliminating downtime and
providing maximum productivity.
