The handset/base stops working
while being used.
L Disconnect the AC adaptor and turn off the
handset. Connect the AC adaptor, turn on the
handset and try again.
While storing an entry in the
phonebook or assigning a one
touch dial, the handset starts to
ring.
L A call is being received. To answer the call, press
{C}. Programming will be cancelled. Start again.
Pressing {R} does not
display/dial the last number dialled.
L The redialled number was more than 24 digits long.
Redial the number manually.
The handset beeps intermittently
and/or 7 flashes.
L Fully charge the battery (page 10).
I fully charged the battery, but 7
still flashes.
L Clean the charge contact and charge again (page
10).
L It is time to replace the battery (page 11).
Caller information is not displayed. L You must subscribe to Caller ID service.
L Your unit is connected to a telephone line with DSL
service. We recommend connecting a filter (contact
your DSL service provider) to the telephone line
between the base unit and the telephone line jack.
While viewing caller information,
the display returns to standby
mode.
L Do not pause for over 1 minute while searching.
I cannot register a handset to a
base unit.
L The maximum number of base units (4) are already
registered to the handset. Cancel unused base unit
registrations from the handset (page 55).
L The maximum number of handsets (6) are already
registered to the base unit. Cancel unused handset
registrations from the base unit (page 54).
L You entered the wrong PIN number. If you forget
your PIN, consult your nearest Panasonic service
centre.
L Locate the handset and the base unit away from
other electrical appliances.
