      Caller information may not be displayed for several reasons: * You may need to subscribe to a Caller ID service from your service provider. * If additional telephone equipment is connected, remove it and plug the unit directly into the wall jack. * If you have DSL/ADSL, connect a DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and the telephone line jack. * Other telephone equipment might be interfering with the unit; disconnect it and try again.

      If your unit isn't recording new messages, here are a few things to check: * Make sure the answering system is turned on. * If the message memory is full, erase unnecessary messages. * Verify the recording time is not set to “Greeting Only”; if it is, change the setting. * If your own greeting message is not recorded properly, callers are unable to leave a message. Record your own greeting message again. * If you subscribe to a voice mail service, messages are recorded by your service provider/telephone company, not your telephone. Change the unit’s number of rings setting or contact your service provider/ telephone company.
