If your Panasonic Telephone is not recording new messages, ensure the answering system is turned on. Note that the system does not record calls from cellular lines. Check if the message memory is full and erase unnecessary messages if needed. Also, verify the greeting setting is not set to “Greeting only” or “Greeting1&Only”. • P
      Patrick GarrettSep 4, 2025
If you cannot pair a cellular phone to the base unit of your Panasonic Telephone, it may be due to compatibility issues. Confirm your phone supports the hands-free profile (HFP) specification. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth feature is turned on. Try turning your cellular phone off and on again. If your phone is connected to another Bluetooth device, disconnect it. Some phones may require you to enter the base unit PIN for pairing; make sure you enter the correct PIN.

If your Panasonic Telephone displays 'is', it could mean the handset is too far from the base unit, so move closer.
