Programmable settings
Problem Cause/solution
I cannot program items. L Programming is not possible while either another handset or
the base unit is being used. Try again later.
L Programming is not possible while the base unit is downloading
data. Wait until the STATUS indicator stops flashing and lights
in steady green.
While programming, the unit starts
to ring.
L A call is being received. Answer the call and start again after
hanging up.
I cannot register a handset to the
base unit.
L The maximum number of handsets (6) is already registered to
the base unit. Cancel unused handset registrations from the
base unit (page 42).
L You entered the wrong PIN. If you forget your PIN, contact your
phone system dealer.
L Place the handset and the base unit away from other electrical
appliances.
I have programmed the Call
forward/Do not disturb/Block
caller ID/Block anonymous calls,
but the unit does not work as
programmed.
L The features may have been programmed by your
administrator. Contact your administrator for further
information.
L Features set on your unit may be overridden by your phone
system settings.
L Call forward (“Busy”/“No Answer”) does not work when Do
not disturb is turned on (page 31, 38).
