7.1 Initialising the VPS
Initialising the VPS erases recorded messages and resets all settings to their default values. (System
prompts, including customised prompts, are preserved.)
There are 2 methods to initialise the VPS: through KX-TVM/NCV Maintenance Console, and using
the Mode Switch.
Initialising the VPS with KX-TVM/NCV Maintenance Console
1.
Click "Utility System Initialise/Restart Initialise System".
2. Specify "Mailbox No. Length (2–5 digits)", "System Manager's Mailbox No." and "Message
Manager's Mailbox No.".
