4. Printing Mechanism
4.1 Removal and Replacement Procedures
a 4.1.1 Carrier
Ce 1. Unplug the flat cable from the Carrier.

2. Position the Carrier in front of the left side.
Pallet Gable Daniget 3. Remove the screw from the Carrier Cable
Hanger.

Bail Lever Arm.
Carrier Rear Guide
Carrier Shaft
. Remove the screw from the right side frame.
. Remove the spring from the right Bail Lever Arm.
. Carefully remove the Bail Lever Arm away from
the end of the Carrier Shaft.
. Carefully slide the Carrier Shaft to the right.
. Remove the Carrier.
Replacement is done in the reverse order.
4.1.2 Ribbon Holder

Cam Follower
Ribbon Feed Motor
Drive Cam
Screws
Ribbon Feed Motor

Pull the Cam Follower out of the groove in the
Drive Cam.
. Slighty slide the Ribbon Holder to the right and
remove it upward.
Replacement is done in the reverse order.
; 4.1.3 Ribbon Feed Motor
Carrier Board {
Unsolder the Motor leads from the Ribbon Feed
Motor.
2. Remove the 2 screws from the Motor.
Replacement is done in the reverse order.
