To initialize the network settings (®page 166), turn off the power of the camera, then turn on the power
again while holding down the [INITIAL SET] switch on the unit, and keep the [INITIAL SET] switch held
down for about 5 seconds. Wait about 3 minutes after releasing the button. The camera will start up
and the settings including the network settings will be initialized. Do not turn off the power of the unit
about 3 minutes after turning on the power.

The notification function allows users to notify errors to the destinations specified in “E-mail
notification” - “Destination E-mail address” and “Panasonic alarm protocol notification” - “Destination
server address” in the [Notification] tab on the “Alarm” page when an error occurs such as having no
SD memory card inserted after rebooting or inserting a locked SD memory card. (®page 147,
