4 Control Settings
The principle control during operation is the rotary switch; this allows the user to select the following operations
In ‘AUTOMATIC’ mode the instrument will continually monitor the suspended solids density and will move the sensor
up and down to track the sludge blanket interface. The MOTOR UP/DOWN and STOP positions are self-explanatory
and are only used during the setup of the instrument.
On the circuit board there are a number of other controls, the function of these controls is explained in later sections:
