Select [Security Type] and select the security type
used by the access point.
Select [Password], input the case sensitive
password and then press [ENTER].
Select the [right arrow], select [PING], verify that
the
www.google.com address is displayed and
then press [ENTER].
The PING request results display. If the ping is
successful, then the setup is complete. If the ping
fails, then review the steps from the beginning and
verify each step.
7.2 S920 Static WiFi Setup
The S920 supports Wi-Fi Static for network and internet
access. The following instructions include setting up
Wi-Fi for Static communication type.
From the IDLE screen, select and hold [1] and
[ENTER] on the terminal at the same time for about
1-2 seconds and then release.
At the MAIN MENU, select the [right arrow], then
select [Communication].
Input the password and press [ENTER].
Select [Main Comm] then select [WiFi].
Select [Backup Comm] and then select [None].
Select [Maximum Tries], verify the default value
[1] is displayed for retries and then press [ENTER].
