3.7.2 Verifying Cellular Service by Using the LD Atlas App
Connecting to the 831C while in the field using the LD Atlas app helps you determine if the
service is working properly. You can find a process for doing this in 2.3.2 "
Verifying Remote
Communications via a Mobile Device" on page 18.
3.7.3 Acquiring the Gateway GPS Signal
When you deploy and power on the system, you can use LD Atlas or the G4 Live View, GPS
Page to verify the gateway is streaming the GPS location. When configured correctly and
when the gateway is positioned in the path of at least 3 satellite signals, the unit’s GPS
location displays on the GPS Page; 4 or more satellite signals activate the local time as
shown in Figure 3-15.
