IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Front Panel

Power Indicator

The green LED indicates when AC power is supplied to the unit and the power switch is on.

Signal Level Indicator

The green LED indicates signal presence at the amplifier output.

SPS™ Indicator

The red LED indicates when SPS circuitry is active. SPS eliminates power amplifier clipping.

Input Channel Level Controls

Controls the signal level of the input channels 1-8 respectively to the mix bus.

Input Channel Signal Status Indicators

Indicates signal presence (green) and peak (red) conditions of the channel input signal prior to the level controls. Be cautious not to overdrive the mix bus.

Program Input Level Control

Controls the signal level of the program input to the mix bus.

Low EQ Control (Bass)

Adjusts low frequencies; clockwise boosts, counter-clockwise cuts (±10 dB).

Rear Panel

High EQ Control (Treble)

Adjusts high frequencies; clockwise boosts, counter-clockwise cuts (±10 dB).

EQ Bypass Switch

Selects EQ status: OUT for active controls, IN for flat EQ.

Mute Bus Indicators

Red LEDs indicate mute bus status; lights when activated.

Master Level Control

Controls the overall level of the system.

AC Power Receptacle

For the IEC line cord providing AC power. Never break off the ground pin for safety.

Power Switch

This rocker switch applies mains power to the unit.

Fuse

Located in fuse holder cap. Must be replaced with the same type and value to avoid damage and warranty voiding.

AC Outlet (Unswitched)

Provides AC power for auxiliary equipment (max 300 Watts); not controlled by power switch.

Outputs

Provides direct and transformer isolated outputs for amplifier/loudspeaker interface.

Module Input Ports 1-6

Accepts optional PLUG-IN MODULES not requiring +5V power supply.

Module Input Ports 7-8

Accepts optional PLUG-IN MODULES requiring +5V power supply.

Low cut switch

Provides a 6 dB/octave low frequency roll-off at 60 Hz for transformer isolated outputs.

Preamplifier Out

Provides a line level output of the Master Level mix output to drive external devices.

Power Amplifier Input

Direct input to power amplifier with 1 Volt sensitivity. Allows insertion of signal processors.

Bridge In/Out

Output signal independent of Master level, EQ, and High EQ controls. Can be used as a mixing output point.

Program Input

Auxiliary input for signals from other sources, controlled by Program level control.

Ext Mute 1/2

Terminals connect to Shield for mute bus activation, feeding PLUG-IN MODULES.
