A. Thisapplianceis equippedwithanignitiondevicewhichauto-
maticallylightsthepilots.Donot fryto lightthepilotsbyhand.
B. BEFOREOPERATINGsmellallaroundthe applianceareafor
gas.Be sureto smellnextto the floorbecausesomegas is
heavierthanairandwill settleonthe floor.

• Donottryto lightanyappliance.
• Donottouchanyelectricswitch;donotuseanyphonein
yourbuilding.
• Immediatelycallyourgassupplierfroma neighbor'sphone.
Followthegassupplier'sinstructions.
• Ifyoucannotreachyourgassupplier,callthefiredepartment.

Use only your hand to push in or turn the gas control knob.
Never use tools. If the knob will not push in or turn by hand,
don't try to repair it, call a qualified service technician.Force or
attempted repair may resultin a fire or explosion.
Donot use thisapplianceif any part hasbeenunderwater.
Immediatelycall a qualifiedservicetechnicianto inspectthe
applianceandto replaceanypartof thecontrolsystemandany
gascontrolwhichhasbeenunderwater.

position,turnbothclockwise_ to"OFF."

8. Turnthe gas control knob and pitotcock counterclockwise
to"ON."
9. Replace controlaccess panel, if applicable.
10.Turn on all electric power to the appliance.
11. Set the thermostatto desired setting.
