This connector is for a chassis-mounted front panel audio I/O module that supports HD
Audio.
NOTE: It is recommended that you connect a high-denition front panel
audio module to this connector to utilize this motherboard’s high-denition
audio capability.

This connector is for the S/PDIF audio module to allow digital sound output.
Connect one end of the S/PDIF audio cable to this connector and the other end to
