Taking Pictures

You can zoom in and out to change the captured area.
1 Press the Zoom button in the capture mode.
x Tele : enlarges the subject
w Wide : widens the area captured by the
camera
As you continue to press the x on the
Zoom button, the camera automatically
switches from optical zoom to intelligent
zoom.
Once the x on the Zoom button is released
and pressed again, the camera switches to
Digital Zoom.
The zoom bar is displayed as follow.
*1 You can zoom in to a maximum of 3x optically.
*2 The Intelligent Zoom range differs depending on the recorded
pixels. See the following table.
