What to do if my Performance Tool W1645 Jacks will not lift to full height?

If your Performance Tool Jacks won't lift to its full height, there are several potential causes. First, the power unit may be low on fluid. To resolve this, with the jack on a level surface and in the down position, remove the filler plug and add clean hydraulic jack fluid until it reaches the level of the filler. Second, the power unit may be air bound. To fix this, open the release valve a minimum of 2 full turns and pump the handle a minimum of 20 full strokes to purge air from the system. Finally, the valve may not be closing completely. To seat the valves: close the release valve, with the jack in the fully lowered position, manually raise the lifting arm as high as possible, then open the release valve and allow the jack to descend to the lowered position.
