11.05.15 Thread check spring and slack thread regulator
Requirement
1. The motion of the thread check spring must be completed when the needle point
enters the material (spring stroke approx. 7 mm).
2. When the thread loop is at its largest when going around the hook, the thread check
spring must have moved by approx. 1 mm.
● Turn thread tension 1 (screw 2) according to requirement 1.
● Turn thread tension 3 (screw 4) according to requirement 2.
Due to technical sewing reasons it may be necessary to deviate from the
spring stroke indicated above.
Move the slack thread regulator 3 (screw 4) toward the "+" (= more thread) or
toward the "-" (= less thread)
