Operating instructions HE lite

safety precautions of the instrument serve for accident prevention, i. e. the protection of the

operating and maintenance personnel and for the instrument itself.

The following notices regarding operator safety must be particularly considered:

• Each person, who is concerned with mounting, dismounting, remounting,

commissioning, operation and maintenance (inspection, maintenance and overhaul) of

the HE lite in the company of the operator must have read and understood the complete

operating instructions and especially the chapter regarding safety

• The operator is obliged to use the HE lite only in perfect condition.

• The operator of the HE lite is responsible that the safety devices are not changed, that

they are working and that they are not blocked.

• After repair works it is necessary to check whether all protection devices have been fixed

before using the instrument.

• The local rules for safety and accident prevention must be considered in every case

during operation.

3.3 Working with electric components

The opening of the housing as well as all repair and maintenance works

regarding electric components must be carried out by an electric specialist

in accordance with the VDE (Association of German Electric Engineers)-

regulations as well as the requirements of the local electric supply

companies. The warranty expires when opening the housing and in case of

the guarantee expires by the opening of the housing and in case of

improper handling.

4 Packing, transport

4.1 Transport and storage

4.1.1 Notices and protective measures for the transport

• To be despatched with supplied original packing only

• To be treated with usual care

• To be kept dry inside original packing

• Not to be kept outside

• Don’t put any heavy items on the packing

4.1.2 Information regarding damages in transit

Damages in transit must be reported and documented in written form (preferably by means

of a picture).

4.1.3 Checks during the acceptance through the consignee:

 Are there any loose parts inside the housing? (shaking test)

 Are there any scratches or dents on the housing??
