A hybrid navigation system and the map can either reside on the
device or on a server. The advantage is that one does not rely
on wireless connection to recalculate a route.
The freedom of getting an area map based on a specific location
or a corridor map based on the route between origin and
destination (much less data size thus less downloading time).
