5.4 Trouble-shooting
In case of unsuccessful lock, check the following points :
- DSP code must be loaded every time a new DUT is plugged in (in the case of TU1216).
- Check channel configuration settings.
- Have the power supply connections been done properly?
- Is there any current limitation on the +5.0Volts power supply? 0.5A current is needed.
- Press the I

C check button to verify that I
2
C communications are correct.
- In the control software window (press the configuration button), check the type of tuner used (should be set
to PHILIPS).
- Is the tuner in lock? (First, allow the software to read the tuner registers).
- Is the gain in an automatic configuration? Is the RF input level correct?
- Is the spectral inversion forced or in automatic search configuration?
