Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence.
If you contact Philips, you will be asked for the model number
and serial number of this product. The model number and serial
number are on the back of the product. Write the numbers

• Risk of product damage! Make sure that the power supply
voltage matches with the voltage printed on the back of the
product.
• Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power
adaptor, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the
USB cable.
• Before connecting the AC power adaptor, make sure that you
have completed all other connections.
• When you unplug the USB cable from the digital radio or
adaptor,disconnecttheadaptorfromthepowersupplyrst.
• The battery contains chemical substances, so it should be
disposed of properly.
This digital radio can be powered by AC mains or build-in
battery.
