To stop storing the automatic preset
• P-ess PROGRAM or • on the system
Note;
If no preset number is selected, automatic preset
will begin from preset (I) and all your farmer
presets wilt be overridden.
Manual Preset Programming
1 Tune to your desired fade s_ation (refer TO
"Tuning to radio stations")¸
2 P_ss PROGRAM
PROG starts Nashing
-_ The next available preset number is displayed
_r selection¸
To store the radio station to another
preset number
• P-ess _1 or _ to select the desited preset •
number
3 Press PROGRAM again to sToce the radio
station
-_ PROG disappears
• Repeat steps I-3 to s_ore oTFer -adio sta* ons •
To exit manual preset mode
• P_ss • on the system
Notes:
If you attempt to store more than 40 preset
radio stations, 'TULL" is displayed.
During programming, if no key is pressed within
20 seconds, the system wilt exit the programme
mode automatically.
Tuning to preset radio stations
• Once you've progtamrqed the radio stations,
p-oss _1 or _ to select the desired prese*
numbel-

waveband are displayed
RDS
RDS (Radio Data System} is a broadcasting
setvice that allows FM stations to send additional
infutmation along with the regular- FM radio
signal TFis additonal nf_rmation can co_,tain:
Station name:The fade station name s

Programme type:TFe following programme
types exist and can be received by your tither:
News,Affairs, Info, Sport, Educate, Drama,
Culture, Science,Vaned, Pop P/, Rock M, N.OR
(mddle of the road music), LigFt N, Classics,
OLher M, No type
Radio text (RT): text messages appear on the
d splay
To receive RDS Radio Stations
Tuned to a fade station f'-_m FM band.
-_ If the radio station is transmitting RDS signal
the RDS logo (RDS) and the radio station name
will appear on the displa}_
To Check the RDS information
PressRDS repeatedly to scroll through the
_llowing infon_ation (ifavailable) :
STATION NAHE _ PROGRAHNETYPE
RADIOTEXT _TUNED FREQUENCY
STATION NAME ....
Notes:
If the tuned radio station does not transmit RDS
signal or is a non RDS station, ,,: r P,_S" is
displayed.
If the RDS text message is not available at the
RDS station, "_'J_ P,_S T[ _T" is displayed.
