Setting the RDS clock
Some RDS radio station may be transmuting a
real clock time at an interval of every minute It
is possible to s_ the clock by using a time signal
which is broadcast together with the RDS signal¸

Some RDS radio station may he transmitting a
real time clock at a minute interval. The accuracy
of the transmitted time depends on tile
transmitting RDS radio station.
Notesz
You have to exit Tuner mode before selecting
NEWS function.
Before you activate the NEWS feature, ensure
that the first five presets have RDS stations.
The NEWS works only once for each activation.
The NEWS will not start if a recording is in
progress.
- If no RDS station is detected, "_,I_ _S _'£_ 5"
is displayed.
To cancel NEWS function
• Press NEWS again or press TIJNER to select
tuner mode¸
• Dudng news bulletin, press any other available
source keys to execute the releva_ source mode¸

Once the News PTY (Pro%ammeType) s
detected n a RDS radio station, t will switch to
TUNER mode automatically
IMPORTANT!
You can activate NEWS function in standby,
demonstration or any source mode except
Tuner and Eco Power standby mode.
To activate NEWS function
