Functions
Co ee Temperature
This function allows you to adjust the co ee brewing temperature.
Timer (stand-by)
This function allows you to adjust the time the machine will go into stand-
by mode after the last brewing.
Contrast
This function allows you to adjust the contrast of the display to better view
the messages.
Water Hardness
This function allows you to adjust water hardness to better manage ma-
chine maintenance:
1 = very soft water
2 = soft water
3 = hard water
4 = very hard water

"INTENZA+" Water Filter
This function allows you to manage the "INTENZA+" water  lter.
For more details, see the section related to  lter handling.
Descaling Cycle
This function allows you to run the descaling cycle.
Factory Settings
This function allows you to reset all factory values.
Programming Example
In this example, we want to explain how to programme the display con-
trast. Proceed in a similar manner to change the other functions.
The programming menu can only be accessed when the machine is in on.
