Initial Setup
When you turn on this unit for the first time, you need
to follow these steps.
1 Press [Q (STANDBY-ON)].
2 Turn on the TV. Select the input to
which the unit is connected.
“Initial Setup” will automatically appear.
3 Select the type of tuner to install
using [U \ D]. Then press [OK].
The unit will start scanning channels available in
your area.
Digital tuning:
Only the digital channels receivable in your area
are automatically scanned and stored.
Digital&Analog Tuning:
Both analogue and digital channels receivable in
your area are automatically scanned and stored.
Analog tuning:
Only the analogue channels receivable in your
area are automatically scanned and stored.
• If no channel has been stored, the antenna
confirmation display will appear. Press [OK] to start
auto scanning again or press [BACK U] to cancel
the Initial Setup.
• Make sure this unit, TV and Cable Box/Satellite
Receiver (if available) are all connected correctly
and switched on.
4 After the channel search is finished,
“Clock Setting” will appear. Press
[OK] if you want to adjust the current
date and time, then follow steps
below, or press [BACK U] or
[HOME] to exit.
• The current date and time will appear
automatically.
• The message : “Wait for a moment.” will appear
while the clock data is being updated.
5 Enter the date (day / month / year)
using [U \ D].
Press [P] to move the cursor to the next field. If
you want to go back to the previous field, press
[L].
6 Enter the time (hour / minute) using
[U \ D].
The clock will start.
• Although seconds are not displayed, they will be
counted from zero.
7 Press [OK] to exit.
Note
• Leave the unit in standby for 1 minute after
completing the initial installation and do not unplug
the mains power of the unit. The unit needs this
1 minute to store all the channels. After 1 minute,
you can remove the mains power if you need to.
