Edit a genre name
Note
Only genre names beginning with [ Pre-defi ned _ ]
can be edited.
•
1 Press HOME.
2 Select [ Recorded Titles ], then press OK.
3 Select a title and press the Yellow button
[ Edit ].
4 Select [ Sort Format ] > [ Create
Genre ], then press OK.
5 Select the genre to rename and press OK.
A keyboard screen is displayed.
6 Select the key to enter, then press OK.
Use the following options to edit.
Option Action
Insert a space between the
characters.
[ Space ]
Remove the character to the
left of the cursor.
[ ⌫ ]
Toggle between upper,
lowercase characters or
symbols.
(Green
button)
Clear all entries.
(Yellow
button)
7 To confi rm, select [ Confi rm ], then press
OK.
The genre name is edited.


If a DVDR has been fi nalised, it cannot be edited.•
The disc edit menu provides to disc editing
functions:
Edit title name
Edit disc name
Hide/ unhide a scene
Divide a title (DVDRWs only)
Protect/ unprotect a title
Delete a title
Erase a disc
Edit the title name
The title name is automatically generated by the
recorder. You can edit the title name.
1 Press DISC MENU.
2 Select a title and press the Yellow button
[ Edit ].
