Sort preset channels
1 Press HOME.
2 Select [ Settings ], then press OK.
3 Select [ Tuner ] > [ Manage Presets ] and
press OK.
4 Select a channel and press W.

5 Select [ Move Up ] or [ Move Down ].
6 Press OK repeatedly until the channel
reaches the preferred position.
7 To return to the setup menu, press BACK.
Enable NICAM sound
NICAM is a digital sound transmission system. It
transmits either one stereo channel or two
separate mono channels.
1 Press HOME.
2 Select [ Settings ], then press OK.
3 Select [ Tuner ] > [ Manage Presets ] and
press OK.
4 Select a channel and press W.
5 Select [ NICAM ], then press OK
repeatedly to toggle between:
[ On ]
Enable NICAM mode.
[ Off ]
Disable NICAM mode.
6 To return to the setup menu, press BACK.
Receive TV channels through the
decoder
Note
These instructions apply only if the TV channel is
transmitted through a decoder connected to the
EXT2 socket on the recorder.

1 Press HOME.
2 Select [ Settings ], then press OK.
3 Select [ Tuner ] > [ Manage Presets ] and
press OK.
4 Select a channel and press W.
5 Select [ Decoder ], then press OK
repeatedly to toggle between:
[ On ]
Enable reception from the decoder.
[ Off ]
Disable reception from the decoder.
6 To return to the setup menu, press BACK.
