External Control
In addition to using the Planar PS Series 4K remote control and display, there are other
methods of controlling the Planar PS Series 4K display externally:
• Using a serial link to send binary commands and to receive responses to those
commands. The same set of commands can be sent over RS-232 or TCP. See the
Planar PS Series 4K RS232 User Manual for more information.
• Using discrete infrared (IR) codes to program a third-party remote control.
