Temperature mode
If the temperature sensor has not been
properly installed prior to being
toggled to “OUT TEMP,” the message
“PLUG IN tEMP CAbLE” will scroll three
times in the upper right corner, then
will display “_ _ _ °F.”
Press to toggle through the program-
ming options until “tEMP” and “SEt” display
on screen.

To toggle between “°C” or “°F.” When the
scale you want is ashing, press to
select and exit to normal display mode.
Do not leave the PNI V6000 in a parked
vehicle that is likely to be exposed to
extremely hot or cold temperatures.
ICE alert feature
When the outside temperature sensor has
been properly installed, the ICE alert feature
can sense and warn you if the temperature
drops to 35°F (1°C). When this happens,
the PNI V6000 will automatically switch to
“TEMP” mode and “ICE” will ash for 20
seconds on line 2 and the temperature will
display on line 1.
