9. Remove or disconnect the following components from
the cargo box brace.

Ignition Coil Fastener

Transmission Vent
Line

Harness Retainers
i
Heat Shield Push
Rivets
10.Remove the cargo box brace fasteners
o
and
remove for vehicle.
11. Remove the spark plug caps.
12. Remove the four screws retaining the engine and
PVT intake vents. Loosen the PVT intake clamp.
Remove the two bolts mounting the air box to the
frame bracket and loosen the clamp on the air box
duct. Remove the air box from vehicle.
13.Remove the two bolts mounting the air box to the
frame bracket and loosen the clamp on the air box
duct. Remove the air box from vehicle.
14.Remove the four fasteners
o
securing the airbox
support to the frame and remove it from the vehicle.
NOTE
The heat shield is retained to the airbox support and
can remain attached during removal.
