WARRANTY
LIMITED WARRANTY
Polaris Sales Inc., 2100 H ighway 55 , Medina, MN 55340, gives a SIX MONTH LIM-
ITED WARRANTY on all comp on ents of the Polaris RANGER against defects in mate-
rial or workmanship. This warranty covers the parts and labor charges for repair or
replacement of defective parts which are covered by this warranty. This warranty begin s
on the date of purchase. This warranty is transferrab le to another consumer during the
warranty period through a Polaris dealer.
REGISTRATI O N
At the time of sale, the Warranty Registration Form must be completed by your d ealer
and submitted to Polaris within ten days. Up on receipt of this registration, Polaris will
record the registration for warranty. No verification of registration will be sent to the
purchaser as the copy of the Warranty Registration Form will be the warranty entitle-
ment. If yo u have not signed the original registration and received the custom er copy,
please contact your dealer immediately. NO WAR RANTY COVERA GE WILL BE
ALLOWED UNLESS YOUR VEHICLE IS REGIS TERED WITH POLARIS.
Ini tial dealer preparation and set- up of your vehicle is very important in
ensuring t rouble-free operation. Purchasing a machine in the crate or without
proper dealer set-up will voi d your warrant y coverage.
WARRANTY COVERAGE AND EXCLUSIONS:
LIMITAT IONS OF WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES
The Polaris limited warranty excludes any failures that are not caused by a defect in ma-
terial or workm anship. This warranty d oes not cover acciden tal damage, normal wear
and tear, abuse or improper handling. This warranty also does not cover an y vehicle that
has been altered structurally, neglected, improperly maintained , used for racing, or used
for purposes other than for which it was manufactured, or for any damages which occur
during trailer transit or as a result of unauthorized service or the u se of un authorized
parts. In addition, this warranty does not cover physical damage to paint or finish, stress
cracks, tearing or puncturing of upholstery material, corrosion, or defects in parts, com-
ponents or the v ehicle caused by fire, explosions or any other cause beyond Polaris’ con-
trol.
This warranty does not cover the use of unauthorized lubricants, chemicals, or fuels that
are no t compatible w ith the vehicle. The exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty
shall be, at Polaris’ exclusive option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, or
components or products. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY ARE
THE ONLY REMEDIES AVAILAB LE TO ANY PERSON FOR BREACH OF THIS
WA RRANTY. POLARIS SHALL HAVE NO LIAB IL IT Y TO ANY PER SON FOR
INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPEC IAL DAMAGES OF ANY DE -
SCRIPTION, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY
OR ANY OTHER CONTRA CT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER TORT OR OTHER-
WISE. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequen-
tial damages or implied warranties, so the above limitations o r exclusions may no t app ly
to you if inconsistent with controlling state law.
