10. Disconnect the transmission shift cable (L) by
removing the clip (M) and sliding the washer and
shift cable off the bellcrank.
11. Mark the location of the upper shift cable jam nut (N).
Loosen the lower jam nut (P) and remove the shift
cable assembly from the bracket (Q).
12. Relieve pressure from the fuel rail. Disconnect the
fuel line at the fuel rail wrap the ends with a clean rag
to assure no dirt gets in the fuel system.
13. Using a 13mm socket and wrench, remove the
fastener (R) securing the bottom of the intake
plenum to the rear transmission mount.
14. Using a long screwdriver, loosen both hose clamps
(S) that retain the intake plenum runners to the
cylinder head intake adapters. Remove the intake
plenum and electronic throttle control as an
assembly.
