19. Install a new water pump cover gasket.
20. Install the water pump cover and (3) retaining bolts.
Torque bolts in sequence to specification.
TORQUE
Water Pump Cover Bolts:89 in-lbs (10 Nm)(Apply
Loctite
®
204to bolt threads)
21. Install (2) new water pump (O-rings) and lubricate
them with fresh engine oil (see illustration below).
22. Install water pump assembly into engine as shown in
the “Water Pump Installation” procedure.
