Gearcases
Transmission (Main Gearcase)
Always check and change the transmission oil at t he intervals outlined
in the Periodic Maintenance Chart beginning on page 53. Maintain the
oil l evel even with the bottom of the fill plug hole.
The fill plug (1) is located at the rear of
the vehicle.
Refer to the Gearcase Specifications
Chart on page 63 for recommended
lubricants, capacities and torque
specifications. See page 99 for the part
numbers of Polaris products.
Oil Check
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Remove the fill plug.
3. Check the oil level.
4. Add the recommended oil as needed.
5. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to specification.
